I am a very experienced traveler, with annual trips to different African Nations. I was fortunate to attend two tours with Pyramid Tours under the leadership of Dr. Segun Shabaka. I went on an awesome East African tour to Tanzania and Zanzibar with a stop over in Ethiopia. It was a well planned trip with lots of activities cultural, historical and fun and Dr. Shabaka was a very attentive tour Coordinator. We did a safari in Tanzania and attended the African music festival on beautiful Zanzibar Island. I also went on a [northern] tour to Ethiopia with Dr. Shabaka were we visited many historical and cultural sites. I highly recommend Pyramid Tours, great prices, tours and services. Maisha Ongoza (Philadelphia, PA) –Tanzania, Zanazibar & Ethiopia.
“…guided by Dr. Shabaka…[w]e had an amazing time…our sojourn to Ethiopia (Addis Ababa, Axum, Bahar Dar, Gondar, Lalibela, Lake Tana and Adwa)…memorable stops at rock…churches of Lalibela, The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion (home of the Ark of the Covenant) and Great Stelae Park of Axum, The Blue Nile Falls, Site of the Battle of Adwa (where the Ethiopian Army defeated the Italian Army in 1896), the ancient castles of Gondar and the tombs of Emperor Haile Selassie and his Empress Menen Asfaw. It was an honor to witness Ethiopia as it was celebrating Easter, one of their holiest holidays. The Ethiopian people are wonderful, gracious and welcoming. Ethiopia was breath taking …Dr. Shabaka and Pyramid Productions helped me to fulfill one of my "dream trips" I highly recommend traveling with Dr. Shabaka and Pyramid Productions.” Iris Jenkins (Philadelphia, PA) - Ethiopia

"Traveling with Pyramid Production Tours was one of my most memorable trips to the continent of Africa! Through Dr. Segun Shabaka’s long established relationships with the wonderful people of Senegal and Gambia, we were welcomed and treated as returning family in the cities, towns and villages. The rich history and culture that they so generously shared with our group still resonates with me many years later." Dr. Audrea FeFe Dunham (Atlanta, GA) Senegal & Gambia
My Havana Jazz Festival trip to Cuba with Dr. Segun Shabaka left no stone unturned. Like the flier said “a once in a lifetime opportunity”. I was so impressed with the amount of attention we received and every detail addressed.
History, music, art, dance, shopping, performances & museums just to name a few spots…Brother Segun keep up with you to assist with navigating travel from the U.S. to Cuba. Medical insurance & visas were included as a part of the package, so no hassling with that. Food...amazing…an Afro Latina tour guide, she took us off the beaten path and to places only natives would know. As a world traveler, I highly recommend Pyramid trips to anyone… Oh yeah…Breakfast at top hotels then tour, lunch, shopping, dinner, night life. Beverly Kellee (Los Angeles, CA) - Cuba
I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have visited Africa with Pyramid Productions (PP)…I arrived not knowing what to expect and departed 10 days later after a fabulous trip with feelings - too many to express in words. Experiencing a people so rich in their culture and traditions, so proud in spite of their meager living conditions, the motherland where my history all began, brought me to the realization I have so much to be grateful for. A trip to the Motherland with PP will leave you educated, enlightened and eager to see much more of this great continent! Jackie Bartletto (Jacksonville, FL) - Senegal and Gambia.
